What Happens If I Get Sick? 

If you become sick or show symptoms of COVID-19, please respect others and stay in your room. Do not socialize or ski with others.  A virtual consult with our resort physician will be scheduled to discuss your symptoms and further actions. Our resort physician will make a decision on next steps.  Potentially you may need to be tested for COVID-19 with our on-site  COVID-19 Molecular NAAT(Nucleic Acid Amplification Test) device.  You will need to self-monitor and follow the of guidance public health and our in-house medical team. 

Can I get a COVID-19 test at the resort? 

Yes. We have an Abbott ID Now NAAT device on-site.  It is at the discretion of our resort physician to test for COVID-19 with the NAAT device.  This device is used for testing on-site patients as an extra level of precaution.  We are not licensed to test for travel requirements.  We have arranged with a testing company in Kamloops for testing for travel requirements and we can help you book your test.   

What happens if I test positive with COVID-19 while at the resort? 

If you test positive with our on-site Molecular test device, we will follow the direction of British Columbia’s health officers as outlined here. You will most likely have to isolate in the resort. We will help arrange accommodation and food for your isolation period and ensure you have access to our resort physician if required.

What happens if another guest in my group is diagnosed with COVID-19? 

You will be considered a close contact and must self-monitor for symptoms and follow the guidance of public health and our in-house medical team.  If you’re symptom free, our goal is to keep you skiing at the discretion of our medical team. 

What happens if another guest at the resort tests positive for COVID-19

We will notify all staff and guests that there is a positive case within the resort for transparency.  The patient will isolate on resort and follow the guidance of public health and our in-house medical team.  Since our protocols keep all groups separated in their skiing pods, there will be minimal effect on your trip.
