At Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing we make booking your ideal heli-skiing or boarding vacation easy. Simply email or call to secure your package with a deposit and then get ready for the best powder anywhere.
How to Book
- Review our Packages to decide which package is best for you.
- Determine which tour dates interest you - although we do our best to book your first choice, our most popular weeks fill up early and may not always be available.
- Decide which Accommodation interests you.
- Contact our Reservations Coordinators to secure your vacation.

Deposits
Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing Packages are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Your Package is confirmed once we receive the following deposit (per seat):

Once we receive your deposit we will reserve your seat until the full payment due date. If you do not send a deposit by the agreed date we will release your booking and reserve the right to sell the package to another party. Your final payment is due 10 weeks prior to your first day of skiing and your reservation will automatically be canceled if we do not receive full payment by this date.
Payment options
Our payment options make it easy for you to secure your Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing Package. We accept some major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX), money orders, bank wires and personal cheques (in Canadian or US funds only).
Cancellation

If you cancel your Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing vacation more than six months prior to your first day of skiing then your deposit will be refunded minus an administration per package fee of $1,000 (Private or Semi-Private), $500 (Deluxe, Super Elite, A-Star Elite or Snowcat & Helicopter) or $ 250 (Snowcat). |

| If cancellation notice is received less than six months prior to arrival. your deposit will not be refunded. Any changes to ski week package or length are subject to an administration fee. |
| If cancellation notice is received less than 10 weeks prior to the arrival, full payment is non-refundable. |
| Our reservation and cancellation policies are standard in the helicopter skiing industry. Significant financial commitments related to helicopters, employees, fuel, and supplies are made during summer and fall. |
Refunds
Refunds will only be provided in the following circumstances:
| $30 per 1,000 vertical feet as an in-house credit to be used on the current trip or $40 per 1,000 vertical feet as credit for Deluxe or A-Star Elite seat occurring the following year, per Deluxe, Super Elite and A-Star Elite seat (standard hourly rate guarantees apply for Private Packages), if inclement weather or helicopter breakdown prevents such person from reaching the guaranteed vertical footage of heli-lift specified in the ski package. |

| If the Skier cancels the Reservation and is able to find a replacement skier for the seat(s), all money on account will be refunded less an administrative fee upon full payment by the replacement skier. |
| No refunds will be provided in the following circumstances if a person is injured during skiing or if a person chooses not to ski for part or all of the Tour (ie. early return) and the Tour reserved herein attains the minimum guaranteed vertical footage. |
Insurance
We strongly recommend that you purchase insurance to cover personal injury, cancellation, interruption and property losses prior to your Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing vacation.
Trip Cancellation & Interruption
Trip cancellation insurance provides coverage for your non-refundable deposit and final payment prior to your first skiing day, while trip interruption insurance will help you recover any losses due to injury or illness while on your vacation in Blue River.
Medical & Emergency Evacuation
We recommend that you carry insurance to cover life and health risks while you are in Canada. If you are injured, you will be charged the helicopter and ambulance expenses associated with your evacuation as well as any expenses related to your medical care. Medical and evacuation insurance will help to cover these costs.
Personal Property
Your property insurance may not cover losses incurred in Canada. Please confirm coverage of personal property losses prior to your vacation or purchase additional insurance as required.
