PLEASE NOTE: Flying into Blue River is highly dependent on good weather and visibility. Blue River is in a mountainous area with constant weather changes. Pilots may encounter adverse conditions including wildlife, fog, clouds, rain, snow, wind, or an icy runway. At present there is no instrument approach; however, an RNAV Instrument approach into Blue River is nearing approval by Transport Canada. If the scheduled aircraft cannot land in Blue River due to any of these conditions, delays will consequently incur and connecting flights could be affected. Alternative ground transportation will be provided. Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing takes no responsibility for any flights into Blue River and waives any responsibility for trip cancellation or interruption. We highly recommend that guests purchase travel insurance.
