Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing is pleased to introduce our exciting Snowcat Skiing and Snowcat / Heli Skiing programs. Join our certified ski guides and up to 12 guests in the passenger cabin of our state-of-the-art Piston Bully 300 snowcat as you explore the powder terrain of the majestic mountains near Blue River.
Snowcat skiing offers a relaxed introduction to back country skiing and mountain safety skills, helping you build confidence in all types of terrain and snow conditions – including the powder!. Guides work with you to develop your skiing and boarding technique, creating the perfect opportunity to increase your skills on snowcat terrain or transition to heli skiing. Less experienced skiers and riders are guided down gentle terrain at a relaxed pace, while more advanced skiers and riders can experience the challenge of descending up to 3,500 vertical feet on both powder and groomed terrain.
Prices are inclusive of all vertical - there are no extra costs for extra skiing. We don’t charge more for skiing more.
