On April 12th, 2007 the Saddle Mountain Master Development agreement was signed and officially documented the vision of Mike Wiegele and the governing agencies and the future growth. The gathering was hosted over a gourmet lunch surrounded by delegates, friends, family, and fellow heli skiers. Jimmie Spencer, longtime President of the Canada West Ski Areas Association, spoke proudly of how MWHS will be the first helicopter organization to develop a multi-dimensional snow resort with both lift, snow cat and heli access. Among the many supporters was Brent Harley, Brent Harley & Associates Resort Planning Group; Martha Matthew, Simpcw First Nations Band Manager; Psyche Brown, Manager of Major Projects with the Resort Development Branch; Brian Ross, Fulton & Company .
