There is no cellular telephone service in Blue River. Wireless internet service is available throughout the Resort.
The Thunder Ridge Centre houses the Front Desk, Reservations, Conference Room and Administration departments.

Under the guidance of Executive Chef, Toni Spöri, gourmet meals and attentive service make dining in Blue River the perfect compliment to a great day of skiing. Alternating throughout your ski week, we offer plated dinner service and a world-class buffet featuring sushi, wild smoked salmon, Atlantic lobster and other specialty fares. Our menu varies daily to satisfy your taste buds and entice your palette. With our specialty suppliers we offer the freshest of the world's finest produce like fresh Canadian pride angus beef, New Zealand venison and an extensive selection of distinct International cheeses. We search for the best quality and the most select ingredients we can find from the exotic fruits flown in from Central America to the daily deliveries of fresh seafood. We do our best to buy locally when suitable products are available. We feature an in-house bakery and create all of our jams, specialty sauces internally. Our kitchen keeps up to date on food trends offering innovative new menu items. We take into consideration environmental and dietary requests offering more organic and free-range ingredients when available.
You may request to have meals prepared and served in your chalet. We can also cater to dietary needs. If you are celebrating a special occasion during your stay, please ask us about our specialty cakes. .

Our modern, well-equipped Fitness Center offers exercise equipment for all interests. Guests wanting a cardio workout enjoy the stationary bikes, treadmills, Skiers Edge machines, rowing machines and cross-trainers, while others take advantage of the 15 Nautilus weight machines and free weights. Group stretch classes are offered morning and evening in the suspended hardwood floor Studio. The apres-ski saunas and whirlpool. are popular activities after an invigorating day in the mountains.
Our fully trained massage therapists are available throughout the winter season. Request a massage appointment in advance by sending in a Massage Request Form.
Guests may also book appointments on arrival through the Front Desk, however appointment availability may be limited.
Our knowledgeable and experienced Sports Shop staff will provide the equipment you need to enjoy your MWHS vacation. Choose from a wide selection of Atomic Powder Skis and Burton Snowboards that are perfectly suited to our powder terrain and have your boots custom fitted for superb comfort. Sport shop staff will adjust your equipment to accommodate your ability and body size and then tunes and waxes your skis and board each day for maximum performance. Your equipment is delivered to the heli-pads each morning for your convenience.
In the Games Room guests enjoy a game of pool, fooseball, or table tennis while others relax with cards or a board game.

Heli Village Resort accommodation is some of the finest in the business. Most guests stay in one of 22 handcrafted log chalets located throughout the resort. Whether you choose double or single accommodation (depending on availability and subject to surcharge) each chalet includes all the amenities you need for a perfect vacation. Most Private Ski Package chalets include a helicopter pad outside the door. Wireless internet access is available in the chalets.
Our popular private accommodation options include Albreda Lodge, Ironstone Manor and the Bavarian Estate.
The Guide Haus is the heart of our heli-skiing operations. Each morning the guiding team and pilots meet to discuss the weather forecast, the snow stability and decide which terrain will offer the best possible skiing that day.
In addition to the medical clinic, the Guide Haus also hosts the resort's climbing wall which is popular with many guests. The University of Calgary's Avalanche Research Centre and the Canadian Ski Guide Association offices are also located in the same building.
